Marine Lake is a small cove towards the north of Weston Bay. Refurbished in early 2022, it is an “infinity” pool with its own sandy beach and permanently offers sea-water bathing even when the tide is out. <br /><br />Weston-super-Mare has the second highest tidal range in the world, so the sea does go a long way out at low tide meaning that Marine Lake's water is replenished every day by the natural high tides and is kept in place by sluices, so there is always water.
