ABOUT ME
I am an enthusiastic award-winning amateur photographer based in the South-West of England with a real drive for creating a broad range of images.
My photography is my passion as well my hobby, and I rarely leave the house without a camera bag of one size or another in tow.
I've been taking pictures for most of my adult life, but over the last 10 years or so I've started to consider myself a photographer in the artistic sense of the word. Up until the Coronavirus pandemic, my main body of work had been candid street photography combined with a passion for travel and exploration, mainly in black and white.
As a result of the various stages of lockdown, I broadened my portfolio and now love taking fine-art black and white long exposure shots, along with more traditional landscape work.
I’ve also started to experiment with black and white infrared photography and have recently bought my first drone for aerial and video work so the portfolio is starting to diversify..
Equipment I use:
Mainly Nikon, and I cycle between my D850 and Z7 depending on the assignment or project I’m working on at the time. For infrared, I use a converted Sony A6000 and the drone is a DJI Mavic 3 Classic.
Whenever I'm out and about though, I always carry with me my little Fuji x100V - lovely camera, cracking lens, and great to seize from my grab bag in haste when that perfect but fleeting opportunity arises!
