Mupe Bay lies next to Dorset's famous Lulworth Cove. The bay is only accessible by crossing the British Army's heavy gun ranges at Mupe, and even then, only via a steep climb up from the village of Lulworth and a walk of several miles from the car park. I've visited several times now, always early in the morning, and never once seen another soul there despite Lulworth itself being one of the biggest tourist traps in the county. On this occasion, while noone was to be found onshore, a gaggle of yachts had moored overnight
